6 times Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates has parted company with CNP Professional to launch his own brand of bodybuilding supplements – Dorian Yates Ultimate Formulas.
The new range will shortly be available on Muscle-Shop.co.uk and as it's already creating something of a stir, I thought I'd give you a sneak preview of Lean Gain, Lean Protein and NOX Pump and what the "Ultimate formulas" have to offer.
Even better, fancy getting your hands on a FREE tub of Lean Gain, Lean Protein or NOX Pump to review it for us before it's available to buy?
For your chance to get the most advanced supplements first hand please email lizzy@muscle-shop.co.uk with your name, address, contact telephone number and email address and state you'd like to try either Lean Gain, Lean Protein or NOX Pump.
Three lucky readers will be selected at random to receive a free tub of their selected choice and all we ask in return is for you to provide us with a completely unbiased review of the product which will be posted on the site. Closing date Friday 18th May 2007.
So, what to expect from the Dorian Yates Ultimate Formulas Range?
Lean Protein
With Lean Protein, Dorian Yates is offering more than a simple whey protein. It's clear that those behind Lean Gain have put careful thought and consideration into the selection of ingredients to create a 'sustained release protein blend'.
The hugely attractive 50g protein per serving contains a mixture of undenatured whey, micellar casein, egg protein and glutamine that simply is the key selling feature of Lean Protein. The idea is to provide a constant supply of protein to feed your muscles over a longer period of time. If you're not looking for such a high quantity of protein in one serving, then just use one scoop to half the protein content.
In what is seems is going to become a standard with new Dorian Yates Ultimate formulas, they haven't just stopped at the high quality protein. Look out for the 'friendly bacteria' and soluble fibre to aid healthy digestion, healthy fats including CLA, MCT's and omega oils to further encourage growth, a large range of vitamin and mineral and finally a patented absorption enhancer, claimed to increase nutrient absorption by 60%.
Lean Gain
Lean Gain will give you everything you want and indeed need in a weight gainer for supporting mass gains. It's a far cry from the outdated, sugar loaded, weight gainers of yesteryear, that, unfortunately still show their ugly faces in this industry. Lean Gain is crammed with ingredients to help support your training.
Lean Gain contains the same protein complex found in Lean Protein so the quality remains at the highest levels. As I see it, there are 2 key features that make Lean Gain stand out from the crowd;
- Firstly the carbohydrate complex with no simple sugars or maltodextrins in sight, just low GI complex carbohydrates for sustained energy release and low GI sugars for fast carbohydrate refuelling during recovery from training.
- Secondly, the patented Absorption Enhancer that is claimed to increase absorption of other nutrients up to 60%! If this claim is right, then Lean Gain really is setting some pretty high standards.
In addition keep eye out for the friendly bacteria and soluble fibre, healthy fats from CLA, MCT's and omega oils and the huge vitamin and mineral complex.
NOX Pump
You'd be forgiven if you get slightly confused with variety of claims NOX Pump makes. Don't be put off by the claims of, 'increased energy, muscle pumps, improved mental focus and stimulation', it's simply because NOX Pump contains such a huge variety of advanced ingredients including nitric oxide boosters, creatine, amino acids, phosphates, vitamins, herbal extracts and complex sugars.
So, what is NOX Pump going to do for you? NOX Pump will give you a pre-workout mental and physical buzz to get you ready to the gym. Once you're the gym you should be able to train more intensely for strength gains and feeling the muscle pump from the effects of the nitric oxide booster. Like Lean Protein and Lean Gain, NOX Pump includes the patented absorption enhancer to increase nutrient uptake.
